FAVORItE THINGS

I'm always getting asked about the exercise equipment that I use for training.  Here are some of my favorites.  I'll only put links to equipment I have tried myself and recommend.  Many of the links are affiliate links to products. This means I may receive a commission for purchases made through these links.

TRX

By far one of my favorite pieces of equipment! Portable, infinitely adaptable to skill level, and fun! I find the TRX HOME2 system works best for most non-commercial applications.  I also love their TRX Exercise Bands and they make great slam balls, too.

Resistance Bands with Handles

Amazon's is the best deal I have found for this product. It's a great price for a quality product.  Comes with interchangeable handles, a door anchor, and ankle straps.  Great bang for your buck!

Glass Water Bottle

This is my favorite water bottle.  It's glass, and while that is a bit heavier than plastic, everything tastes better out of glass.  And it's safer for you!  This version is great - leakproof, easy to refill, can handle being thrown around a bit.  Mine goes with me everywhere.  I absolutely hate disposable, single use plastic water bottles!

Wireless Mobile Bluetooth Speaker

This is one of the best things in my gym bag!  You just have to have some upbeat music to workout to!!  This little guy is portable, shockproof, waterproof and the rechargeable battery lasts up to 15 hours.  Sound quality is top notch for a little speaker.

16" x 16" Adjustable Stepper

I really like this step.  It's a little different than the traditional wider ones, but it takes up less space and it's easier to adjust than most.  I also love that the 4 risers give added flexibility to height options.  I use this with my clients for everything from step ups to tricep dips.

39" Professional Stepper

Great heavy duty step if you have the room.  Adjusts up to 10" high.

TRX Slam Balls

You can get the TRX slam balls at the TRX site (first link on this page), but if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can also get them here.  This is the best piece of equipment for stress relief - hands down!

Everyone needs a foam roller!

Not all foam rollers are created equal - make sure you get one that is firm enough to do the job and won't break down or get squishy on you.  I recommend the 36" size - perfect for doing a shoulder flexion exercise and post-surgery shoulder stretches.  I like this brand for both price and color options.

Loop Resistance Bands

Great tool for hip and bootie work!  Easy to get on and off and super durable.  These are much nicer to use than the latex versions.  I use the 12.5" size and have all 3 resistance levels. Great price, too!
